CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPES


Method

Heat the oven to 190C/fan170C/gas 5 and line two baking sheets with non-stick baking paper.
Put 150g softened salted butter, 80g light brown muscovado sugar and 80g granulated sugar right into a bowl and beat until creamy.
Beat by 50 percent teaspoon vanilla flavoring and 1 large egg.
Sift 225g plain flour, teaspoon bicarbonate of soda and teaspoon salt in to the bowl and blend it along with a wood spoon.
Add 200g plain choc chips or chunks and stir well.
Make use of a teaspoon to create small scoops from the mixture, spacing them well apart around the baking trays. This mix should make about 30 cookies.
Bake for 8–10 mins until they're light brown around the edges but still slightly soft within the center should you press them.
Leave around the tray for a few mins to create after which lift onto a cooling rack.
